Virginia Horse Racing (VEA)
The Virginia Equine Alliance (VEA) is a nonprofit organization that works to promote and advocate for all aspects of the equine industry in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We worked with the VEA team to refresh its official website, transforming it into a dynamic, multimedia-rich, easy-to-explore online portal for horse industry information and upcoming events.
As part of the website revamp, the VEA wanted a new logo to better represent the “Virginia Horse Racing” brand within its industry, and we designed a clean, elegant mark that elevates VEA’s visual identity.
Visitors to the reimagined Virginia Horse Racing website are now greeted with a carousel of majestic videos showcasing Virginia horse country. From there, they follow streamlined menu systems into to key content areas that showcase “Virginia Stories,” video vignettes that humanize the industry and its impact, news and updates from the Commonwealth’s Thoroughbred and Standardbred racetracks, and easy ways to submit questions and share ideas directly with VEA representatives. The site’s internal pages now incorporate more visual elements, including dramatic imagery, distinctive iconography, and eye-catching text treatments that make content easy to scan, digest, and share.
